Memories Are Made Of This
Weddings are full of unspoken mixed emotions. To preserve these fleeting moments forever in your thoughts is not possible without making it a mark on your photos. Here is where the talent of photographers comes in. Photographers are memory keepers and dream catchers. They have the special talent in preserving special moments of your dream wedding when others can’t. Importantly, when words can’t express it, photographers can capture it.
In April 2008, we arranged a wedding photography workshop at the Wedding Hub with the purpose of providing the inside scoop to newly engaged couples on what wedding photography is all about. Workshop participants had more than an hour of opportunity to chat with three talented professional photographers, Jason, Zung and Patrick of Flaunt Weddings on how to select a style of photography that will suit not only their personalities and wedding but how not to settle for the ordinary but go for the extraordinary.
The photographers also showcased their works of art through slideshows to enable couples to have a feel of what creative wedding photography is all about. The sense of detail and passion for photography by these individuals were clearly seen by workshop participants. Participants realised that unlike amateurs, these contemporary photographers can offer much more than just photos. They offer highly significant refined details and spontaneous creativity in their work. Remember, events may come and go but good photos captured on your wedding day are memories of a lifetime.
