An Afternoon Delight

The Wedding Hub knows that every couple who plans for a wedding will welcome a little expert advice. So that is exactly what the Worskhop @ The Wedding Hub offers. Working together with the experts within the industry, the workshop provides practical advice and ideas focusing on specific topics to help couples prepare for their wedding day.

The first workshop was successfully held recently on a Sunday afternoon at
The Wedding Hub on 20 January 2008. The highlight of the day was on wedding invitations. In a relaxed and friendly environment, workshop facilitator, Debra Char of Justscan Creative shared practical tips, advice and experience with workshop participants. These included trends in wedding invites, the dos and don’ts when sending invitations to your guests, the process timeline in designing and planning your own custom-made invitations and many more. Debra also answered every question from participants humourously at the end of the workshop session.

Afterwards, participants not only had a chance to sample cupcakes courtesy of Black Forest Tavern but also had the opportunity to informally chat with other wedding specialists present at the Wedding Hub. Workshop @ The Wedding Hub will be a monthly affair and is conducted free for all participants.
