So you have the perfect stunning hair, planned an elegant reception with amazing centrepieces plus a McDreamy groom. What’s left now is choosing the once in a lifetime stunning wedding gown to complement the entire dream wedding. Selecting the right wedding gown is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make for your wedding day. With different styles and silhouettes to choose from, what should a chic and stylish bride or the princess in you be seen in?
The signature workshop at the Wedding Hub held on Sunday, 16 March 2008 was all about being a bride. The workshop was tailored in hope to provide brides-to-be a good idea as where to begin their hunt for the perfect gowns. The workshop kicked off with a fashion showcase featuring 12 different stylish gowns from That Special Occasion and Pretty in White. Wispy and romantic, edgy and sophisticated, flirty and ethereal, elegant and sexy and fairytale dresses were some of the words used to describe the wedding gowns worn by the models.
Designers Kris Wong of That Special Occasion as well as Veralyne Ng and Elaine Kong of Pretty in White were on hand to explain how to create a gown that is simply ‘you’ from different plays of silhouettes, fabrics, colours and trims as well as taking questions from eager brides and surprisingly, concerned grooms as well. Brides-to-be also got insights on how to care for their wedding gowns and discovered helpful hints on how to decide on the right wedding dress. This free workshop is only the third of a series of monthly workshops that we will be having at the Wedding Hub. There’s more to come in the following months. So stay tuned by visiting our websites at www.weddingsmalaysia.com or www.the-weddinghub.com for more details on awe inspiring workshops.
